As the UI/UX Designer, I worked on creating a mobile application for a service marketplace designed to connect customers with professionals on polish market. This project aimed to deliver a seamless experience for users to request services, compare offers, and connect with experts directly through their mobile devices. The challenge was to translate the functionality of an existing web platform into a mobile-first experience, ensuring usability and convenience on smaller screens.

Close collaboration with developers throughout the project allowed me to address technical constraints while maintaining the integrity of the design. The result was a polished mobile application that delivered an optimized, engaging experience for users and strengthened the marketplaceās presence in the competitive service platform market.

What I Learned
- Adapting Web Experiences for Mobile
Redesigning the platform for mobile taught me how to translate complex web functionality into a simplified and intuitive mobile experience. I gained a deeper understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in mobile-first design, especially in addressing limited screen space and different user behaviors. - Evolving and Maintaining Design Systems
Working with an existing design system helped me improve my ability to maintain consistency while introducing new components. I learned the importance of scalability, organization, and documentation to ensure the design system remained useful for both current and future projects.
